On Monday, the low pressure system will return and bring precipitation to the north of South Tyrol, with the snow line between 1500 and 1700 metres. Some rain showers may also spread to the Dolomites, otherwise it will remain dry with strong wind. A few rain showers may pass through on Tuesday morning, after which it will clear up and the sun will shine at times. The wind will weaken considerably. Wednesday will begin sunny, with clouds gathering from the south-east as the day progresses. Thursday will be cloudy and rainy in places.

Weather in the mountains

The general weather situation will not change much. A northerly current will carry moist and cold air masses towards the Alps.
On the mountains on the alpine crest clouds and snowfall often obstruct visibility. In the southern mountain groups it is mostly dry, but cold and sometimes strong northerly winds are blowing everywhere.

The weather-determining low pressure system will temporarily retreat to the east, resulting in an improvement in the weather in South Tyrol.
The clouds will clear up starting in the west. The weather will be very sunny, especially in the Vinschgau. Clouds may persist in the eastern part of the territory.
