About 4000 singers, about 90 choirs and about 60 concerts in different musical genres: These are the key data of the Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival, which takes place annually for five days towards the end of June.

Unique for this music festival: the repertoire ranges from church to opera singing to folklore and alpine songs. Spiritual, gospel and jazz are also part of the Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival. And the individual concerts take place in a wide variety of locations, divided between the villages between Bruneck and Sillian in East Tyrol. In the magnificent nature of Lake Antholz as well as in magnificent churches, in medieval castles, in centrally located squares and in individual mountain huts. The concerts at Kronplatz at the "Concordia" peace bell are always a very special highlight.

South Tyrolean Jazz Festival

The colourful world of jazz makes an annual guest appearance in South Tyrol at the South Tyrol Jazz Festival Alto Adige, including Bruneck. Music lovers can look forward to colourful sounds at extraordinary locations, performed by international artists.

For about ten days, from the end of June to the beginning of July, the South Tyrol Jazz Festival Alto Adige offers a varied programme of internationally renowned jazz greats from Italy, Scandinavia, Germany, Paris and New York. The numerous up-and-coming artists will also make the hearts of music lovers beat faster. All in all, there are about 250 musicians from 20 different nations giving about 100 performances. In addition to Brunico, the concerts of the South Tyrol Jazz Festival Alto Adige also take place in the provincial capital Bolzano, Vipiteno, Bressanone and Merano.
